Since I started making my first basic lotion bars, I’ve been trying out different scents and fun variations. Lotion bars are awesome because they’re super concentrated and leave your skin silky smooth, especially if you have dry skin.
Over time, I’ve created bars for pain relief, others to tackle eczema, some to fend off bugs, and even homemade deodorant bars. Initially, I would make these in silicone molds, which I still enjoy, but when I learned I could use empty deodorant containers for easier application, I started making more as gifts.
These Moroccan oil lotion bars are packed with ingredients I love. When making them, I use these empty white deodorant tubes, though there are prettier ones out there if you’re planning to give them as presents. If I gift them in these tubes, I like to wrap them with a piece of burlap and tie them with twine for a natural touch. Do you have any favorite essential oils you love to use?
