I’ll admit, I wasn’t always into the pumpkin spice mania that hits every Fall. But as I’ve gotten older, my tastes have evolved, and now you might catch me enjoying a slice of unsweetened pumpkin pie while sipping a pumpkin spice latte!
During this season, pumpkin spice candles seem to be everywhere. However, for health reasons, I avoid store-bought options and stick with unscented beeswax. Still, I craved the cozy pumpkin aroma in my home to pretend there’s a pie baking, so I started looking into making my own pumpkin spice room spray.
Naturally, I wanted a healthy option! I loved scented candles once, but after learning about their potential downsides, I wanted a safer way to make my home smell like Fall.
This simple room spray was the answer. I’ve tried many homemade air fresheners using the same formula, but this one is perfect for Fall. It combines essential oils to create a crisp, spicy, and sweet aroma. You can also use these oils in a diffuser for a scent that lingers longer.
Feel free to tweak the oil ratios to suit your preference, but I think this mix is just right. With hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, orange, and even cardamom in the air, you might find yourself craving some apple cider or pumpkin muffins to match the mood.
No complicated steps required—just mix and enjoy a house that smells fresh, sweet, and spicy!
